Sheldon Rose BPR, APR, Fellow CPRS
Sheldon brings more than 25 years of marketing communications and public relations experience to the information technology, healthcare, life sciences and not-for-profit sectors.
Prior to establishing Sheldon Rose Communications, he spent 14 years in the information technology practices at two Toronto-based communications firms where he raised the profile and visibility for several private/public clients through sustained and creative strategic marketing communications, public relations programs and social media initiatives.
Sheldon is a results-oriented communications practitioner with a successful track record of working collaboratively with internal/external teams to deliver tactical solutions in support of vision and business goals.
His not-for-profit, healthcare experiences include senior management positions at The Heart and Stroke Foundation, The Easter Seal Society, West Park Hospital, Council for a Tobacco-Free Ontario and The YMCA of Greater Toronto where he planned and managed numerous high-profile public, media relations and communications marketing programs.
In addition to his Bachelor of Public Relations (BPR) from Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax, Sheldon is an accredited public relations practitioner (APR) and a member of the College of Fellows (FCPRS) through the Canadian Public Relations Society. He teaches public relations part-time at Centennial College and the School of Continuing Studies at the University of Toronto.
He is an active community volunteer and currently serves on the board of several not-for-profit organizations.
